Fig Holistic Restoration Care
Welcome to Family is Golden (FIG), where we aim to be the FIG tree which brings forth good fruits, so we remain in the True Vine, as He also remains in us.
Fig home care, LLC is a Maryland licensed; Faith-based; Veteran owned business. We provide Holistic personalized care and assistance to clients living in Prince Georges, Montgomery, Anne Arundel, and Howard Areas. Recognizing the reasonable fear of declining health, death of a spouse, or being cared for by a stranger.

We hire only experienced, licensed and compassionate caregivers, with a gentle touch of grace capable of removing unrest and doubt from any soul; changing hostility to love, and unbelief to confidence and hope. The services provided by our compassionate team allow seniors to age in a safe, comfortable and familiar place, while maintaining their independence and dignity. We offer a customized plan of care which begins with our Registered Nurse conducting an assessment, followed by our Wellness and Nutrition specialists to determine each client’s individual needs.
Our goal is to equip our team members, clients, and families with unlimited practical tools, education, and training, during these difficult times.

Why choose Family is Golden (FIG) Senior Care?
After being in the field for over ten years, listening to clients, and my own experience as a patient, I realize the healthcare system needs some improvement in relating to clients during care. It has robbed the dignity and respect owed to our citizens for their contributions and services to our society. It seemed to place no value on "Human life."
FIG home care is a company for the people
Training and services are provided, applying the required love, respect, compassion, and empathy needed when caring for others. Accepting our calling as caregivers, we are humbled to be the hands and feet of Our Lord in the lives of others.
We introduce to our clients the benefits of the original human diet, eating to live, food as medicine and detox programs at an affordable rate. Adopting this lifestyle will result in reduce illness (diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity), fewer drugs intake and toxic to the body, gain optimal health, increase independence, and quality of life while noticing a decrease in medical cost.
A Faith-based company
We consider all clients like family; We work together to provide services according to each client's choice, active participation in their immediate community, and services that guarantee the protection of each ones' rights, health, and safety. We strive to bring joy, laughter, encouragement, and hope.
A client 84 years of age, once said to me "I may be old, but not cold." With that statement always in mind plus my knowledge of elder abuse, confirmed by studies showing an estimate of 1-2 million U.S. citizens 65 years of age and older being mistreated, exploited, or injured by a caregiver. We operate on a zero percent tolerance for any form or sign of abuse/neglect.
Our dedicated management team demonstrates honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all aspects of operations. We utilize the power of love, touch and affirmation as the main ingredients in providing Christlike care.
- Gillian Johnny,
Our Life Enrichment Activities Program
At Senior Home Care Services, we’ve seen how social isolation and loneliness can negatively impact a client’s health, well-being and quality of life. It’s often more serious than we realize; ongoing, extended periods of seclusion increase the risk for depression, dementia and other serious chronic medical conditions. To solve this problem affecting countless seniors and others who are homebound, we created our Life Enrichment Activities Program (LEAP). With LEAP, our clients get to do the things they love alongside their dedicated HomeWell caregiver and break the monotony of being home alone.
Our Life Enrichment Activities Program (LEAP) enhances home care with activities designed to eliminate boredom and vastly improve the enjoyment of life. Our thorough assessment of each client’s abilities allows us to tailor engagement opportunities to them. Simple activities like an afternoon excursion or learning a craft can vastly improve the quality and enjoyment of life. Clients benefit from more companionship activities and the chance to explore new things, both of which help keep their spirits young and vital.
Studies show that people who engage in meaningful, productive activities with others tend to live longer, experience improved moods, and maintain a continued sense of purpose.
